		<description>The 6131 is probably a newer phone that already uses Symbian or other &quot;advanced&quot; operating system. As far as I could dig there is no way to fetch SMS messages from such a phone using AT commands.</description>

I have a nokia 6131 but It doesnt work with the ideas you gave above...

I dont know about windows because i do not understand much about remote controlling Windows machines. But in terms of Unix systems, if you can do it in a command line you can do it via SMS. You can send a SMS to the phone and the PC will execute either a pre-stored command, or execute what you typed in the message.

Security Freaks: I know it is possible to Spoof SMS messages, but right now I&#039;m not talking about that.</description>
